Porcelain on Steel
Aarco Products' porcelain on steel chalkboards provide the best quality of writing and erasing. These chalkboards feature a ceramic finish [available in Slate (S) or Green (G)] permanently baked to a steel substrate at temperatures so high that they actually melt together. The texture is coarse enough to make a highly
visible, contrasting mark, while smooth enough to erase without leaving distracting shadows. The steel
substrate also allows the use of magnets for posting and illustrations.We are so confident of the quality of our porcelain it's guaranteed for 50 years.
Choose either our North American Red Oak frames and tray finished with high gloss clear lacquer or our aluminum frames, with a satin anodized finished.
Both are built to last and are equipped with factory attached mounting hangers. All tray edges are sanded and polished to a safe, smooth radius. For sizes and profiles refer to page 10.
