Aarco’s VITRE-STEEL Superior Porcelain Enamel Writing Surfaces
Aarco’s Vitre-Steel is manufactured in accordance with the Porcelain Enamel Institute (PEI) standards and is produced by a continuous coil process to insure the highest quality and consistent finish.

Vitre-Steel is a strong, hard, non-porous surface that is virtually indestructible. The porcelain on steel surface is fired at 1364° F. for Chalkboards and at 1472° F. for Markerboards. Both sides receive a base coat of porcelain enamel. The face side is fired a second time for a carefully controlled finish and color. Surface permits use of magnetic accessories

Floor Mounted Units with Full Vertical Movement
Vertical Sliding Units are efficiently designed to maximize the use of valuable wall space. Equipped with two premium Vitre Steel porcelain markerboards with ultra light honeycomb backing that are counterbalanced and can be raised or lowered smoothly and with fingertip ease. A third rear stationary markerboard can be fully exposed by positioning the two sliding boards behind the fixed kick panel. Kick panels are equipped with attractive Burlap Weave vinyl which is durable and washable.
Horizontal Sliding Units
Horizontal Sliding Units maximize the use of valuable wall space. They can be configured with up to four sliding markerboards and one full width tackboard in the same amount of space as one traditional board.

OverBoard
Aarco Products’ Overboard resurfacing system is designed to easily install new porcelain surfaces over existing chalkboards, saving time and money. Units are custom fabricated to be congruent with the originally installed material, thus eliminating the need for removal.
